As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will use communication skills and technology to support daily operations, working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Wed: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities. Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to designated personnel in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
