As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a vital utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Thur 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, equipment areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle activity records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
