Our Mission

Coated In Love is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing hope, help, and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness and others in need.

Each year, our signature outreach event, 3000 Acts of Kindness, brings this purpose to life. Individuals experiencing homelessness are personally invited to receive essential items and services, but more importantly, to experience dignity, compassion, and genuine human connection to be truly seen, known, and loved.

Volunteer Coordinator

We have an opportunity for you to serve as Volunteer Coordinator for our 3000 Acts of Kindness event. This role will play a pivotal role in organizing and managing the volunteer process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clear communication with volunteers leading up to the event, providing updates, answering questions, and fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers, providing them with support, guidance, and information about their roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and help implement training sessions to equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge needed for their specific roles during the event.
• Create and manage volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all areas of the event, including setup, service stations, and cleanup.
• Serve as the point of contact and coordinator for large group/corporate volunteers.
• Experience with Bloomerang Volunteer is a plus.

This role is ideal for individuals with prior volunteer coordinator experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community service. By serving as the Volunteer Coordinator, you will help create a fulfilling experience for volunteers and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve through 3000 Acts of Kindness.
