Senior Accounting Analyst

Senior Accounting AnalystOne of our clients in San Antonio, Texas is looking to bring on a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team immediately.Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst:Prepare cost transfer entries on a monthly basisParticipate in the monthly consolidated close, including extended work hours during close to meet deadlinesPrepare journal entries in accordance with GAAPPrepare financial statements and related analysesPrepare account reconciliations for related accounts and resolve any discrepanciesExecute internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAPSupport internal and external auditsOther duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Analyst:Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)1-2 years of accounting experienceStrong project management skills – able to work on multiple projects concurrentlyProficient with common PC software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Must be a U.S. citizenDeltek Costpoint software experienceGovernment contracting experience
