Non-Negotiables

• You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and possess an active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• You must have at least 5 years of experience in power systems, switchgear, or a closely related industry
• You must have strong working knowledge of electrical transmission, distribution, and substation equipment
• You must be experienced in reviewing technical specifications and identifying compliance issues with contract requirements
• You must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings
• You must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, and production teams

Responsibilities

• You will review and analyze customer specifications, RFQs, and technical documents to ensure compliance with high-voltage circuit breakers
• You will ensure all designs and products meet industry standards such as IEEE, ANSI, and IEC, and identify any deviations
• You will recommend product configurations and technical solutions that align with customer needs and project requirements
• You will review and markup electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings to support engineering accuracy
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and production to resolve technical challenges and drive project execution
• You will support product development, testing, and certification efforts, including coordination with third-party labs like CESI/KEMA
• You will champion continuous improvement in compliance processes and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vacuum circuit breakers in the 38kV to 145kV range is highly valued
• Familiarity with testing and validation procedures for high-voltage equipment is a strong plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for schematic and wiring diagram design is preferred
• Experience supporting product certification with third-party labs such as CESI or KEMA is desirable
• A background in continuous improvement methodologies and documentation standards is a plus
• Knowledge of additional industry standards or emerging technologies in power distribution is beneficial
