Electrical Engineer III

What You'll Do


As an Electrical Engineer III, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative automation solutions that improve manufacturing performance and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems, control panels, schematics, and automation architectures for custom equipment and manufacturing systems
• Develop I/O lists, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and detailed engineering documentation
• Lead electrical and automation engineering projects from concept, design, and build through installation and startup
• Support machine commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, validation, and customer acceptance activities
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, controls engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering standards, CAD libraries, design processes, and system performance
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including UL, NFPA, and NEC requirements
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship while contributing to innovative automation and robotics projects

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred
• Associate Degree with significant relevant experience will also be considered
• 6-8+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, machine building, systems integration, or related fields
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical design software
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation controls, robotics, and machine integration
• Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA, NEC, and industrial networking systems
• Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project execution skills
