Position: Training Consultant Lead / Learning & Development Lead

Location: Little Rock, AR 72209 (Onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Training Consultant Lead to assess organizational training needs and design, develop, and implement effective learning solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale training initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts, and create engaging learning experiences across multiple delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Assess training and development needs across the organization.
• Design and develop instructor-led, e-learning, video-based, hybrid, and microlearning programs.
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to create effective learning solutions.
• Apply ADDIE, SAT, or similar instructional design methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, process documentation, and assessments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on performance metrics and ROI.
• Lead curriculum development efforts and maintain instructional quality standards.
• Mentor junior trainers and support enterprise learning initiatives.
• Leverage modern learning technologies, simulations, AR/VR, gamification, and digital learning tools where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Leadership, or Business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional systems design.
• Hands-on experience with ADDIE and other training development frameworks.
• Experience developing e-learning content using Articulate Storyline or similar authoring tools.
• Ability to conduct training needs analysis and build objective-based assessments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
• Experience managing large-scale learning programs and multiple concurrent projects.
