Respiratory Therapist - Adult

Respiratory Therapist - Adult position available. The role requires working in a supportive environment with an emphasis on teamwork. Respiratory Therapists will be assigned a patient care workload appropriate to the needs of the department. Patient types may vary based on workload including post-surgical, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and ED patients. Candidates should possess a North Carolina license and be certified as an RRT with BLS and ACLS certifications. CRT certification is acceptable but not preferred. Previous experience in critical care is essential. Technological proficiency is required, with preferred experience using equipment such as Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, and cough assist. If working with pediatrics, experience with HFJV and HFOV is a plus. There is no expectation to float to other units, as assignments will be based on experience and unit needs. Weekend rotation is required every other week. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Schedule cycles will occur every 6 weeks. Scrub color is pewter (charcoal grey). The department is known for excellent teamwork, with many members and leaders having extensive tenure and experience.
