Job Title Respiratory Therapist (Adult) Location Winston‑Salem, NC Assignment Details Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: 36 Hours per Week Shift: 12‑Hour Nights Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (Adult) for a 13‑week travel assignment at a large academic medical center and Level I Trauma facility in North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high‑acuity environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide respiratory care services to adult patients in critical‑care and acute‑care settings. Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. Administer respiratory therapies and interventions according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care. Respond to emergency situations requiring advanced respiratory support. Patient Population Patients may include: Critical Care/ICU Medical‑Surgical Emergency Department Post‑Surgical Patients COPD Pneumonia Asthma Other acute respiratory conditions Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience Critical Care experience Active North Carolina Respiratory Care License Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted Current BLS Certification Current ACLS Certification About Us MARS SG Healthcare is a specialized organization dedicated to delivering reliable, high‑quality solutions within the healthcare domain.
