Job Description

Office Associate $17.00/hr

Monday-Friday 7am-5pm available.

Aventure Staffing is seeking Office Associate to work for a well established salvage yard in Spencer, IA! Ideal candidate will have 2-year degree or relevant office experience, proficient with data entry and have the ability to multi-task. Interpersonal communication, excellent telephone skills, math, and Microsoft Office are required. Applicant should be detail oriented, ability to work as a team, strong organizational skills. Must be dependable and motivated to learn!


Responsibilities:

• Cross train in the office including Truck Scale Operations
• Handle customer phone calls and walk-in traffic in a busy environment
• Coordinate with our truck drivers and assistants
• Set up customer contracts, process invoices, transfer documents and perform data entry into proprietary company systems
• Handle direct payments
• Answer & process incoming phone calls
• Maintain a full understanding of company products and services
• Work with sensitive material and maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Provide clear office communication with manager, employees, and patrons
• Go outside as needed to verify incoming customer loads
• Filing
• Perform misc. office duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Office: 1 Year
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Strong math skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• proficient with data entry

• Starting Pay: $17.00/hr
