Job Details

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through meticulous interpretation of imaging and laboratory findings
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical care plans
• Deliver personalized intraoperative assistance which includes setting up surgical spaces, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing instruments during surgery
• Provide top-notch pre-and post-operative care covering medication, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to those with clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain
