School District Treasurer — Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools We are seeking a motivated and dedicated School District Treasurer to lead the district’s treasury operations. Effective Date: On or about July 1, 2026 Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting with experience in a school district or governmental business office environment. Excellent knowledge of EXCEL, Microsoft Office and Google applications. Preferred Qualifications CPA Key Responsibilities Prepare treasury reports and bank reconciliations for all school district operations. Maintain all financial accounting records in accordance with governmental accounting standards. Investment of district funds to maximize interest revenue. Provide cash flow statements and projections. Implement and monitor appropriate internal controls. Control and secure all cash, online banking and wire transfers. Organize all audits and implementation of corrective action plans. Assist school administration in the supervision of business office clerical staff. Assist all clerical staff in requisitioning, purchasing and other tasks as needed. Assist School Business Administrator and Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations with related accounting and governmental reporting requirements. Oversee the district’s fixed asset accounting system. All other duties as assigned by the School Business Administrator and Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations.
