Speech Therapist Pool

BayCare Alliant Hospital is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech therapy services to medically complex patients in a long term acute care LTACH setting. This role focuses on evaluation and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, requiring strong clinical judgment and collaboration within an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing impairments in an acute care setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care. Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning. Qualifications CCC‑SLP (Speech Language Pathology) BLS (Basic Life Support) Speech Therapy License Required Master's Speech Therapy 1 year Clinical Related is preferred Facility: BayCare Health System, Rehab Services Main-PR LEASE ALLIANT Location: BayCare Alliant Hospital – Dunedin, FL Status: Pool, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 8:30 a‑3:30 p / Days Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely?
