Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse

Adventist HealthCare is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will:

• Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
• Utilize equipment and technology correctly, delegate non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications include:

• Current Maryland State nursing license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Passing score on NCLEX
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, ACLS required
• One year of current Operating Room Registered Nurse experience or related acute care experience is preferred

Work Schedule:

Per Diem, Minimum of 4 shifts in a 6 week period and / or call coverage

• Employment Type: Per Diem, $50/hr
• Hours per Week: Per Diem, Minimum of 4 shifts in a 6-week period and / or call coverage

• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:

If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
