Instrumentation Manufacturing Asc Manager (Level 4) 1st Shift

The Flight Test Instrumentation Supervisor is responsible for the build, install/modification, and de-modification of instrumentation measurements and supporting equipment. This position will lead represented employees and oversee a broad range of activities including metal fabrication (CNC machining and sheet metal hand forming), electrical harness fabrication, structure and electrical install on aircraft, and maintenance and removal of instrumentation measurements and equipment on aircraft. This role requires strong team leadership as well as administrative, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position is in Fort Worth, TX. Discover Fort Worth. Responsibilities Build, install/modify, and de-modify instrumentation measurements and supporting equipment. Lead represented employees; perform oversight of metal fabrication (CNC machining and sheet metal hand forming), electrical harness fabrication, aircraft structure and electrical installs, and maintenance/removal of instrumentation on aircraft. Collaborate with team to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Metal fabrication experience CNC machining experience Harness fabrication and routing (install) Flight Line/Aircraft modification experience Experience leading represented and salary employees Desired Skills: Prior leadership/supervisor experience Excellent communication skills Ability to work with varying levels of management across multiple organizations Shop Floor Management (SFM) experience Experience leading in a union environment CAM certified EVMS experience Security and Other Information Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
