Licensed Practical Nurse - InfusionReston, VA Pay From: $30 per hourMUST: Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse will have experience: 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Ability to work independently Strong IV skills Strong experience administering injections and immunizations Must have doctor's office experience Must have a great attitude and be reliable Must have EMR experienceDUTIES: Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for the following:Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or physician assistantAssist physician and physician assistant in exam roomsWorking in a high volume infusion suiteAdministering injections and immunizationsStarting IVs on patients and administering medications as instructed by the physicianVerifying insurance coverage as neededEscorting patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patients' chartGive instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistantEnsure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patient's medical records prior to their appointmentKeep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as requiredTake telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy callsSchedule patient appointments and call to reconfirmQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
