Mechanical Engineer (PE)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (PE) to be an integral part of our full-service design team. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, clients, and vendors to bring exceptional designs to life across a variety of markets—including office buildings, schools, multifamily residences, hotels, restaurants, banks, and retail spaces. Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities: Lead and mentor mechanical design staff throughout all project phases, from concept to construction administration. Develop and manage HVAC and plumbing systems, drawings, and specifications within a multidisciplinary project team. Perform load calculations for heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems using industry-standard software. Select major system equipment and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers. Ensure all mechanical designs align with company quality standards, energy codes, and project requirements. Provide construction phase support by responding to contractor inquiries and ensuring constructability of design solutions. Mechanical Engineer Requirements: Active Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) License . Minimum of 7 years of experience in building mechanical systems design. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and energy efficiency requirements. Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, and energy modeling tools such as Carrier HAP (or equivalent). Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and maintain positive client relationships.
