Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN credential and large teaching hospital experience.

Details

• Maternal Fetal Medicine unit providing OB/GYN, midwifery, and REI services at a large Level 1 trauma facility with 579 beds across 2 campus sites
• See up to 8 patients a day, split between morning and afternoon sessions, with twin pregnancy scans counting as two patients
• 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Sunday scheduling
• Weekend shifts as needed
• No block schedules permitted

Requirements

• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Large, teaching hospital experience required
• Experience in OB/GYN scanning required, including fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester scans, pelvic scans, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy
• Candidates comfortable with GYN and early dating OB scans will also be considered if not proficient in full MFM scanning
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Perform a range of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound procedures supporting maternal fetal medicine, midwifery, and REI services
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
• Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Accepts local candidates
