Title: Survey Crew Chief - Land Surveying
Location: Cockeysville, MD 21030
Pay: $34 - $45

Join a highly respected ENR Top 500 Design Firm that has been delivering transportation, infrastructure, and utility projects for over 50 years. We are seeking a Survey Party Chief to work independently across transportation and civil infrastructure projects throughout Maryland.

This is a field-based role offering strong compensation, a company vehicle, excellent benefits, and long-term career growth with an established engineering leader.

What You Will Be Doing

Lead field survey operations on transportation and civil infrastructure projects
Perform topographic, boundary, metes and bounds, and control survey
Conduct field-to-finish survey work and data collection
Utilize robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and surveying technology
Support LiDAR scanning and related survey activities
Travel to project sites throughout Virginia, primarily transportation-related projects

What You Need For This Job

Experience as a Survey Party Chief leading field crews
Strong background performing topographic and boundary surveys
Experience with metes and bounds surveys and control networks
Field-to-finish survey experience
Familiarity with robotic total stations
Knowledge of VDOT survey standards is a plus
LiDAR scanning experience is a plus
FAA Part 107 Drone License is a bonus, not required
