WE’RE HIRING TEACHERS - EDUCATIONAL DIRECTORS and LEAD TEACHERS!

We are seeking (2) dedicated and experienced Educational Directors and (2) Lead Teachers to oversee our educational programs and ensure a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and a passion for working with students. This role involves managing daily operations, staff supervision, and curriculum development to foster an enriching learning experience.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Familiar with Creative Curriculum and create monthly themes.
• Supervise and support teaching staff to enhance their professional growth and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for child care facilities.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to promote a positive relationship between home and school.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and program effectiveness.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.

 

Requirements

• Active and valid fingerprinting with NYC / DOH, Experience working with children 2-3 years required, strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or related field. NYS teaching licensure is required for Educational Director, NOT Lead Teacher.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create a positive learning environment that promotes child development.

 

(2) Locations: E57th Street & E65th Street

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM - 20 hours per week

Our schedule follows the NYC DOE school calendar

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and wants a consistent, rewarding part-time position. Our assistants support the Educational Director and Lead Teacher, whom help facilitate activities, and create a warm, safe, and fun environment for our students each day.
