Job Summary and Qualifications

Evaluates Patients

Provides appropriate treatment to meet the needs of the patient.

Maintains clinical and departmental records.

Communicates and works effectively with patients and families/significant others.

Communicates and works effectively with other health care professionals.

Professional development of self and others.

Committee involvement.

What qualifications you will need:

EXPERIENCE Required: Contact hours required to obtain CHT certification.
Preferred: Previous experience in certified hand therapy in an outpatient setting.

EDUCATION Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Possession of a valid Virginia license to practice OT and active Certified Hand Therapist certification.
CPR certification or within 90 days of employment.

Preferred: Advanced training in a specialty area related to specific patient populations.
