Banking and Private Credit Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Banking and Private Credit Associate in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in general finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and/or private credit. Experience in energy and infrastructure is preferred. Join a dynamic team in a high-growth practice with a supportive and collegial culture. Duties Advise borrowers, sponsors, arrangers, and direct lenders on complex financial transactions. Collaborate with a global team to deliver tailored financial solutions. Navigate syndicated and private credit markets to provide strategic advice. Assist in structuring and executing innovative financing strategies. Requirements Minimum of two years of relevant finance experience. Experience in energy and infrastructure preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the state bar of Texas. Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in financial analysis and legal research. Strong organizational and project management abilities.
