What You'll Do

• Support clinical interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and use of assistive devices.
• Administer procedures as part of patients' rehabilitation plans and monitor progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members about treatment plans and progress.
• Document all treatment activities accurately in electronic patient records.
• Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and training sessions.
• Supervise and guide students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, legal, and professional standards.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and regulatory requirements
• Preferred:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
