Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position: Special Education Teacher – SDC (Middle School)
Schedule: Full-Time
School Year: August 31, 2026 – June 16, 2027

Spindle is seeking a dedicated  Special Education Teacher to support a middle school Special Day Class (SDC) in Kelseyville, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students in grades 6–8 while focusing on English Language Arts and Math instruction in a supportive educational environment.

Position Details

• Middle School SDC Classroom (Grades 6–8)
• Approximately 20 students on caseload
• Primary instructional focus in English and Math
• Full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year
• $45/hr and up based on experience

Requirements

• Active California  Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
• Experience working in Special Day Class (SDC) settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to differentiate instruction and support students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborative approach to working with families, related service providers, and school staff
