Delivery Driver (08699) – 12130 Hesperia Rd, Suite A Posted 3 days ago Job Description Job Duties: Operate all equipment; stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product; receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Deliver product by car and to customer door; deliver flyers and marketing materials. Training: Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided. Communication Skills: Comprehend and give correct written instructions. Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers via phone and in person. Essential Functions / Skills: Math proficiency: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; accurate monetary change. Verbal, written, and telephone order processing. Motor coordination between head and hands; rapid and accurate movements. Typing or touch‑screen order entry. Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Exposure to varying weather conditions during outside tasks, including adverse weather. Indoor temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in work areas. Exposure to food odors, commercial dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, lifting (up to 60 lb), carrying (up to 30 lb), pushing, and climbing stairs. Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards; access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Essential Skills: Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Ability to navigate multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
