Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting early childhood students in a vibrant, in-person setting. In this part-time contract role, you'll play a crucial part in evaluating young learners, recommending necessary services, and ensuring continuity of care while a member of the existing therapy team is on maternity leave. The caseload is primarily diagnostic, focusing on assessments and service planning, with some overflow treatment responsibilities. Enjoy a schedule that allows for up to 20 hours per week, with flexible days and times—mornings are especially valued.

You’ll work onsite, making a meaningful impact by directly engaging with children and collaborating closely with educators and families. Your expertise will help set the foundation for students’ ongoing physical development and participation in their educational journey.

Qualifications:

• Current, active Missouri Physical Therapist license (MO license number must be provided with your submission)
• Experience with early childhood or pediatric caseloads in a school setting highly preferred
• Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a part-time caseload
• Must be comfortable working exclusively onsite, as this position does not allow for virtual services
• Reliable availability for mornings and capacity to commit through December 1st

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and recommend interventions for early childhood students
• Support clinical documentation and participate in team meetings as required
• Provide overflow coverage from other Physical Therapists during leave periods
• Communicate findings and plans with educational staff and families
