Forklift Operator - Pallet Services

Job Description

Overview

As a Forklift Operator , you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

16.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am
3rd Shift: Saturday-Monday 6:00am-6:30pm

Responsibilities

Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment

Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times

Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required

Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required

Maintain a clean & safe working environment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Forklift certification preferred

1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

Ability to communicate effectively

Willing to work overtime as needed
