About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales to take ownership of the new-revenue function, with a focus on pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and deal velocity. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and refining the sales playbook, including territory planning, quota design, and channel strategy, particularly for regulated financial services. This role involves building and scaling a high-performing team of Account Executives, SDRs, and Regional Sales Leaders, as well as leading strategic opportunities with C-level executives at financial institutions. The VP of Sales will also work closely with the CEO on pricing, packaging, and roadmap, and will be the face of the revenue story at key industry events. Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in B2B enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in senior sales leadership, and a proven track record of scaling sales organizations, particularly in SaaS companies serving regulated industries. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable leading strategic deals with C-level executives and is adept at driving predictable revenue growth through data-driven playbooks. Experience in building and scaling a startup sales organization is essential, and a background in banking, credit unions, or broader fintech is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a builder, with the ability to work directly with a founder or CEO on go-to-market strategies, and may have experience in selling AI-powered technologies or customer experience platforms.
