Mornings at Roundbreads have a rhythm. The ovens are warm, the first bagels come out golden and blistered, coffee is on, and the counter comes to life. This is the shop for the early risers, the people who would rather be busy at 7 AM than dragging at 7 PM. Best part? You are done by mid-afternoon, with your whole evening still ahead of you.

We are a small, tight-knit crew in the heart of downtown Lancaster, one of the most fun and walkable corners of the city. We move fast, laugh a lot, and take real pride in the food. If you want to be a name and not a number, come find us.

What you will do

Prepare in-person and online takeout orders

Toast and slice bagels, apply cream cheese, assemble sandwiches, and prepare made-to-order donuts

Work shoulder to shoulder with a team of 2 to 3 people to get every order out fast

Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized through the rush

Restock the prep station with paper goods, condiments, and supplies

Communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment

Jump in on general prep wherever the shop needs you

Schedule

We are open 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, seven days a week, and every shift wraps by mid-afternoon. Full-time is 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and opening shifts from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM are available too.

Prefer part-time? We build those schedules around your availability, weekends included. Full-time and part-time are both on the table, so tell us what fits your life.

Pay

Total earnings run about $14 to $16 per hour. Base pay is $13 per hour full-time and $12 per hour part-time, plus tips that average $2 to $3 per hour.

What we are looking for

Food service experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person.

Friendly, patient, and genuinely team-oriented

Strong organization and time management

Able to work early mornings and weekends

Understands food safety and proper handling

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb
