This is a job for the early risers, the people who love the quiet hum before the doors open and the rush that follows. And here is the best part. When most of the world is just getting to their desks, you are hanging up your apron and your whole afternoon is still ahead of you.

Roundbreads is a bagel shop in the heart of downtown Lancaster, one of the most fun and walkable corners of the city. We are a small, tight-knit crew that moves fast, laughs a lot, and takes real pride in the food. If you want to be a name and not a number, this is the kitchen for you.

The griddle is the heartbeat of the shop, and eggs are the center of it. We are looking for someone who can cook a folded egg that looks as clean on the fiftieth sandwich as it did on the first.

What you will do

Cook every egg to order, neatly and consistently. Folded and fried, built to match our sandwich specs or to a customer's request.

Reheat and hold our breakfast protein options

Run the griddle through our high-volume weekend and morning rushes

Learn every sandwich build on our menu

Work the donut and cream cheese stations

Toast and slice bagels, apply cream cheese, and assemble sandwiches to order

Prepare in-person and online takeout orders

Work shoulder to shoulder with a team of 2 to 3 people to get every order out fast

Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized through the rush

Schedule

We are open 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, seven days a week, and every shift wraps by mid-afternoon. Weekend shifts run 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Weekday shifts are typically 5:45 AM to 11:00 AM.

Weekend availability is required. Beyond that, the schedule is flexible and built around you, whether you are after a few shifts or a full week. Full-time and part-time are both on the table, so tell us what fits your life.

Pay

Total earnings run about $15 to $17 per hour. Base pay is $13 to $14 per hour depending on experience, plus tips that average $2 to $3 per hour.

What we are looking for

Kitchen or griddle experience preferred. We are hiring this role specifically to carry our busiest shifts.

Confident cooking eggs to order. A clean, consistent folded egg is the core skill here.

Cool under pressure and accurate at volume

Friendly, patient, and genuinely team-oriented

Strong organization and time management

Available weekends and able to work early mornings

Understands food safety and proper handling

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb
