Our citrus can be found in all channels of distribution, with our consumer brands most visible in the produce department of grocery stores across the globe under our flagship consumer brands, Wonderful Halos Mandarins, Wonderful Seedless Lemons, and Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red Grapefruit.Job DescriptionOverview:Individual will perform preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs and improvements on industrial equipment in an automated food processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety, food quality and machine efficiencyHere's what you'll do:Ensures self and coworkers are compliant with all safety rules and regulations (LOTO, fall protection, hot work, etc.)Perform uptime and downtime inspections, lubrications, and preventative maintenanceUtilize predictive technologies such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonics to gain an understanding of machine condition and estimated lifespanTroubleshoot and perform corrective work on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems within the facilityIdentify and execute improvements on equipment, documentation, work systems, and processesCollaborates with different levels of employees in various departments of the facility through face-to-face, telephone, email and radio communicationsProvide training and development to operators and other maintenance personnelResearch system and component specifications using equipment manuals, schematics, parts breakdowns, online information, and vendor communicationDismantle and reassemble complex pieces of machinery in an efficient, precise and reliable mannerOperates cutting, welding, and various other fabrication equipment to cut, form, and/or join materialsCreates/modifies work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System, and documents details of work performedSubmits parts requestsEscalate technical, procedural, and personnel related issues to direct lead or supervisor as necessaryWork with moral integrity on a consistent basisPerforms other assigned duties and projectsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHere's what you'll bring to the table:High School diploma or GED equivalent requiredTechnical degree and three years or more of related experience and/or training in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Effective English communication is a must, bilingual is preferredAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is preferred.Stand and/or walk for up to 12-hour shift.Drive vehicles.Climb on a ladder or scaffolding to heights in excess of 10’, balance, and work above the shoulders frequently.Bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat frequently for extended periods of timeUse both hands for frequent grasping and occasional fine manipulation and fingering.Occasionally carry and lift up to 50 pounds above the shoulders.Occasionally push or pull various items, such as equipment, filters, motors, tools, and compressors pumps up to 75 pounds.Work at heights.Tolerate required personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, dust masks, and safety harnesses on a continuous basis.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment: Moving mechanical parts, Heights, rapidly flashing lights, Low visibility areas, High decibel, machinery, Heavy forklift traffic, uncomfortably warm or cold environmentsPay Range: $29.87 - $33.06 an hour. Final Compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.Shift: This position is scheduled for second shift, from 2:00 PM to 12:20 AM.
