Quick Facts: Location: Fredericksburg, VA Start Date: 08/06/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: Current Medical License in VA (or eligible) Experience: Prior hospice/palliative care experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Competitive pay (not specified) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do: Provide compassionate hospice and palliative care to patients in various settings Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans Assist residents with clinical assessments and symptom management Support end-of-life planning and patient comfort measures Document patient visits and maintain accurate medical records Contribute to a team dedicated to improving quality of life for patients and families What You Need: Required: Valid medical license in Virginia Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred: Previous experience in hospice or palliative medicine Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems About the Assignment: This assignment involves providing compassionate hospice and palliative care in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
