Product Owner

Role Overview The Product Owner will generalize conceptual knowledge to determine ways to solve a range of straightforward problems and situations, contribute to defining and driving the product roadmap, managing priorities within cross‑functional teams, and supporting data‑driven decisions to have the biggest business impact. Responsibilities Works under moderate guidance and direction, using standard procedures to make sound decisions. Provides product leadership role for small or medium‑scale business lines or teams. Drives the implementation of new product offerings through clear communication, cross‑functional collaboration, and agile delivery. Leads the delivery of features and products that align with business strategy and vision and maximize customer value. Represents the voice of the customer in various contexts and gathers requirements, creates and refines epics, features, user stories, and maintains, communicates, and prioritizes the product backlog. Gathers, analyzes, and evaluates data; obtains facts and explains complex information in the form of information flows and reporting. Develops concise business and system requirements, use cases and workflows to support new or enhanced business functionality for complex Federal Reserve and Treasury systems. Prioritizes delivery impediments, product quality issues, and addresses risks. Develops and maintains the product roadmap. Evaluates priorities and resources to identify gaps and elevates them for resolution. Builds relationships with stakeholders to better understand needs and identify new opportunities to provide value. Actively participates in PI Planning/Release activities and represents product lines at internal and external forums. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Education and Experience: Associates degree and 5 years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related work experience OR Master’s degree and 0‑1 year of related work experience. Knowledge Areas – Intermediate Level: Certified Scrum Product Owner, intermediate knowledge of Agile Product practices, knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology. Skill Areas – Intermediate Level: Detail oriented, entrepreneurial approach to product line, critical thinking, presentation, effective communication, excellent analytical abilities, ability to manage competing priorities. Compensation The expected starting salary range for the Product Owner is between $90,500 and $124,400 annually, final salary and offer will be determined by applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
