Please ask about our generous referral fees!o Locum tenens job openingo Seeking a board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant with critical care experienceo Must have post training critical care experienceo Active Illinois license required at time of presentationo IMLC not acceptedo Join a collaborative ICU team providing care across Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down unitso High-acuity environment with support from fellows, residents, and attending physicianso Manage approximately 10-15 patients per dayo Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patientso Perform bedside procedures including central line and arterial line placemento Manage post-operative cardiovascular surgery patientso Provide care for neurocritical care patients, including subdural hemorrhage and EVD patientso Participate in the management of patients requiring VADs, VA ECMO, and heart transplant supporto Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient careo Three APPs provide coverage across Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down unitso Pulmonary patients managed in a step-down setting with support from an on-site Pulmonary Fellowo Trauma and NICU residents are on-siteo Attending physicians available for consultation and supporto Prior critical care APP experience requiredo Experience with neurocritical care, cardiovascular critical care, VADs, ECMO, and transplant patients preferredo Must be comfortable working independently in a high-acuity environmento Night shifts onlyo Monday-Sunday availabilityo Schedule: 7:00p-7:00ao Minimum of three consecutive shifts requiredo Providers must have one day off after working six consecutive dayso EMR: Epico Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
