This full-time role is scheduled for 40 hours per week (days). Assist with patient assessments, treatment planning, and goal achievement. Provide therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes. Collaborate with patients and care teams to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care. Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and follow safety protocols. Qualifications - What We're Looking For Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Current State Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required BLS/CPR Certification required While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply. Physical requirements - What you need to know A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
