Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address emotional and psychological issues.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with clients' needs and goals.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to guide therapy sessions.

• Administering assessments and evaluations to track patient progress and outcomes.
\n
• Facilitating supportive discussions around sensitive topics such as grief, family conflicts, job stress, and relationship challenges.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients regarding mental health, coping strategies, and therapeutic processes.
\n
• Documenting client interactions, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes adults, adolescents, and families facing a variety of challenges such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• Experiences of physical or psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss, often from the death of a loved one or major life changes.
\n
• Family dynamics including conflicts among siblings or partners, cut-offs between family members, and communication issues.

• Adjustments to life transitions such as separation, divorce, and blended families.
\n

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy or those who have worked within community health settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with digital health solutions and varied therapeutic modalities will enhance your candidacy.
