Real Estate Paralegal

This in-office position, based in Raleigh, supports a prominent busy law firm and its Real Estate group. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while supporting attorneys on a variety of commercial real estate and development matters. Key Responsibilities Draft, prepare, and organize closing documents, closing statements, and closing binders while coordinating document signing and closing activities Conduct title examinations and research property records, ownership details, transaction histories, and restrictions affecting the use of assigned properties Prepare and file UCC financing statements and amendments, review and plot legal descriptions, and assist with other real estate documentation Obtain and review maps, surveys, drawings, title documents, and other property-related records from surveyors, assessors, title companies, and government offices Prepare reports related to title commitments, title insurance, real estate transfers, and other transactional matters Provide day-to-day support to attorneys and the Real Estate and Commercial Development practice group, while assisting with additional projects and duties as needed Qualifications 1–3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm or legal environment Real estate or transactional experience and billing software strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Professional, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for continued growth and advancement The employer is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Standard Legal Recruiting
