Billing Representative

We Are Hiring Location: Pensacola, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group Cardiology Schedule: Day | Full-time | Monday - Friday What You Will Do Verify insurance coverage, coordinate benefits, and ensure prompt, accurate billing across all sources to secure timely payments. Determine patient financial responsibility and proactively communicate with patients regarding coverage issues and services not covered by insurance. Prepare and meticulously process all claims. Maintain detailed documentation of all activities, resolve unbilled claims, and review accounts to ensure best practices in billing and reimbursement. What You Will Need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Additional Preferences Previous medical billing experience.
