Private Equity Associate, Consumer & Leisure [Remote]

Develop a transaction-ready financial model for a consumer or leisure investment case, then help assess peer submissions for the same deal. Role Overview

This hourly assignment involves modelling an assigned consumer or leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document pack and reviewing work completed by other contractors.

• Build a working financial model for the assigned transaction from the supplied source materials, without using a template.
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, documented source references, and clearly stated assumptions.
• Review two anonymized models prepared by other contractors against fixed evaluation criteria.
• Provide a brief written rationale for each peer review and complete the associated review scorecard.

• 2 to 4 years of total experience, typically including about 2 years in investment banking, preferably Consumer, Retail, or generalist M&A, followed by 1 to 2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity.
• Current or recent Associate experience at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund focused on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services.
• Relevant experience may include fitness clubs, owned versus franchise models, or multi-site roll-ups.
• Experience in a Paris office or on French transactions is preferred; experience in Paris, London, or elsewhere in Europe is also relevant.
• Ability to construct financial models independently from source documents.
• Professional English-speaking ability.

• Remote engagement open to candidates located in France or elsewhere in Europe.
• Expected effort is approximately 20 to 25 hours over 1.5 to 2 weeks.
• Compensation is 80 to 100 per hour.
