Role: People AssociateLocation: New York, NY (Hudson Yards)In Office Schedule: Monday through Thursday in-office, remote FridaysCompensation: $110,000 – $130,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus and benefitsOur client is a growing Financial Services firm in New York. The business offers a dynamic environment where employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with senior leadership.They are seeking a People Associate to support People Operations and employee lifecycle initiatives across the organization. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across all areas of HR while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.The role reports directly to the Chief People Officer and offers significant visibility across the business while supporting key initiatives related to employee experience, compensation, benefits, onboarding, reporting, and organizational growth.As the People Associate, you will be responsible for:Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee experience, and People Operations initiativesManaging employee benefits administration and coordination with external vendorsSupporting compensation administration and annual people processesAssisting with 401(k) administration and employee programsCoordinating offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment processesSupporting payroll administration, employee records, compliance, and HR systemsPartnering with employees and managers on people-related matters and employee lifecycle supportAssisting with workforce planning, headcount reporting, turnover reporting, and people analyticsSupporting performance management, employee development, and engagement initiativesCoordinating immigration and visa processes with external partnersContributing to process improvement projects that support organizational growth and scalabilityProviding direct support to People leadership and broader business stakeholdersKey requirements:4-6 years of experience within Human Resources, People Operations, HRBP, or related functionsExperience supporting employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration, compensation, payroll, and HR operationsStrong Excel skills and comfort working with reporting and analyticsExperience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, PEOs, or related HR technologyExposure to workforce planning, employee data, reporting, or organizational analytics preferredFinancial services, investment management, private equity, family office, or high-growth company experience preferredHighly organized professional with exceptional attention to detailResourceful self-starter who can operate independently and manage competing prioritiesStrong communicator with excellent judgment and follow-throughComfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving environmentAbility to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organizationAs a specialist HR & Reward search and recruitment firm, we’re excited to partner with a growing organization that offers strong exposure, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
