Commercial Real Estate Analyst

Marquee Lodging Advisors is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our growing team in Scottsdale.Marquee is a hotel brokerage with offices in Paradise Valley/Scottsdale (Headquarters), San Francisco, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Miami is seeking a hotel analyst/associate. This position is a launching pad for a professional who is interested in transitioning into a full-time hotel brokerage role within 18-24 months. The analyst will support the production of current brokers within the firm. This role will help collect, analyze, and evaluate hotel brokerage data. The analyst will have the opportunity to assist other brokers within the firm in marketing and completing transactions. Daily activity will include conducting market research, tracking transactions, working on live on-market deals, collaborating with other brokers and touring hotels. The analyst will be contacting current and past clients as well as prospecting new clients via cold calls. Duties and Responsibilities Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Learn and understand different hotel brand types (Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield, Residence Inn, etc). Research commercial real estate market trends across multiple Cities and States. Have an entrepreneurial and team mindset. Support unplanned research requests. Review data for quality control and verify information prior to distribution. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information. Have a strong drive to succeed and be a self-starter. Ideal Qualifications Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, real estate, or a hospitality-related field. Strong understanding of personal finance and money management. Be able and willing to cold call. Be able to understand and/or learn commercial real estate lending requirements. Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple requests and projects simultaneously. 1–4 years of experience in hospitality real estate, commercial real estate brokerage, hotel real estate research, market analysis, finance, or a related field.
