Base pay range $28,936.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr An intelligence analyst in the United States Army plays a critical role in supporting military operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information related to potential threats and adversaries. Their duties include gathering intelligence from various sources, such as satellite imagery, intercepted communications, human intelligence, and open-source information. They analyze this data to identify patterns, assess the enemy's capabilities, intentions, and vulnerabilities, and provide actionable insights to commanders and decision-makers. Intelligence analysts prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate their findings, helping to shape strategic and tactical decisions. They also collaborate with other intelligence agencies and military units to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the operational environment. By providing timely and accurate intelligence, these analysts are essential in helping the Army anticipate and counter threats, ensuring mission success and the safety of military personnel. This unique benefit enables Soldiers to purchase a home with competitive interest rates (often lower than the average national) without requiring a down payment or private mortgage insurance (PMI). The average national down payment on the purchase of a home is currently $18,000. You must serve at least 90 consecutive days on Active Duty to qualify for this benefit. In addition, you must meet your lender's credit score and income criteria.
