Dental Sterilization Tech - Part-Time (M, W, F) NO Experience Required. Orthodontic office in need of a Sterilization Technician. The position is PT, 3 days per week from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Willing to train the right person but dental experience is a plus, $15.00-$16.00 per hour based on experience. Must be a people person who is detail-oriented, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working in a team environment! The overall job of a Sterilization Technician is to ensure that all equipment is sterile and clean, and equipment is readily available for delivering patient care and making sure we have clinical office supplies to ensure uninterrupted work flow. Some common sterile processing technician job duties include: Preparing equipment and instruments for decontamination. Disinfecting solid clinical areas and turnover for the next patient. Operating equipment to clean, disinfect, and decontaminate instruments, devices, and equipment. Inspecting instruments and equipment for signs of damage and wear and tear. Unpacking, checking, and stocking new equipment, instruments, and devices. Delivering equipment and supplies to all areas of the facility. Maintaining accurate records of when items undergo sterilization. Monitoring temperature and humidity conditions within storage areas. Ordering supplies.
