Solution Architect - ArcGIS Enterprise | TS/SCI

Architect Technology that Supports Critical National Security MissionsJoin Esri`s Professional Services organization and lead the design of secure, scalable enterprise geospatial solutions for Defense and Intelligence customers. You`ll work directly with mission partners to translate complex operational requirements into enterprise architectures spanning ArcGIS, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, integrations, security, and data.You`ll serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers make critical architecture decisions, modernize existing environments, and develop long-term technology strategies.Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, CA area for this position. What You`ll Do:Architect enterprise-scale ArcGIS solutionsDesign cloud, on-premises and secure deployment architecturesTranslate mission requirements into technical architectureDefine integration strategies across Esri and non-Esri systemsGuide modernization and migration strategiesDesign for security, resilience, scalability and performanceAdvise customers on enterprise architecture strategyDevelop long-term technology and GIS roadmapsProvide technical leadership and mentorshipRequirements8+ years of professional experience in GIS platform architecture and solution designExperience designing and integrating high-performance computing, cloud, and edge-native architectureKnowledge implementing zero trust, cross domain services, and securing classified networksProfessional experience architecting, implementing, and administrating enterprise IT-GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS Enterprise platform (desktop, server, and online)Demonstrated experience in platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, developing and deploymentExperience with Oracle; Microsoft SQL, and/or other RDBMS and Windows, Linux, and/or other server environmentsProgramming and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML5 (modern web frameworks)Knowledge of integration of other enterprise systems (such as ERP, EAM, CRM, SCM)Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented architectures and cloud hybrid configurationsAbility to clearly communicate technical ideas to customers, executives, other technical staff or non-technical staffUS Citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM fieldRecommended QualificationsCertification for AWS Certified Solution Architect or MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalentCompTIA Security + certificationMaster's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field#LI-SS2#LI-OnsiteTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
