Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Technology Transactions and Sourcing practice group in Houston, TX, with a preference for candidates in Chicago or Atlanta. The role involves structuring, negotiating, and closing complex commercial agreements related to technology and intellectual property across various industries. Responsibilities Structure and negotiate complex commercial contracts and technology deals. Handle software licensing and cloud services agreements. Draft software, data, and IP development agreements. Manage channel, reseller, and distribution agreements. Conduct IP due diligence in M&A and other transactions. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in technology transactions and sourcing. Experience with AI/ML, semiconductor development, and digital assets is welcome. Excellent analytical, writing, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices. Current law firm experience required. Education Superior academic credentials from a top-tier law school. Relevant coursework in business, technology, and intellectual property law.
