About The Role As a Treasury Intern, you will train in the Treasury Management department gaining experience in treasury operations and procedures while performing hands‑on duties. It is intended that the Intern will be responsible for at least one major project. Job Duties Work with immediate supervisor and department representative to develop a personal training schedule based on education, career goals and previous work background. Meet with employees in the Treasury department and engage in assigned training or work projects. Develop a strong understanding of the bank’s computer systems to effectively support the Treasury Risk team. As training is received, function in the various positions for a period of time using the skills learned. May perform duties as a substitute for an absent employee. Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection Complying with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management About You Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated excellence in working efficiently as an individual and as part of a team. Strong personal motivation and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Ability to follow directions accurately. Basic knowledge in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Candidates must be open to working on a variety of projects and tasks. Education, Experience & Licenses High School Diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent college graduate.
