Assistant TLC Leader-Suffolk, VA

The Assistant TLC Leader’s primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of the facilities operations. The position manages inbound and outbound product flow, ensures safety and customer service, protects company assets, and maintains a clean, safe working environment. The role reports to the TLC Leader and acts as the TLC Manager in their absence. Oversee the flow of inbound and outbound products. Maintain a safe, clean working environment. Ensure company assets are properly protected. Adhere to all corporate operational policies and procedures. Act as TLC Manager during the manager’s absence. Open and close the facility as required. Experience Minimum of 5 years of operations and warehouse management experience. Experience managing KPIs. Supervisor or management experience. Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, or related field; MBA or graduate degree preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Track record of managing projects and teams. Process improvement experience. Day‑to‑day warehouse operations expertise. Logistics excellence. Working Conditions Lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater). Regular standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing required. May need to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment. Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Operate equipment in non‑climate‑controlled and customer locations. Extended day, evening, weekend, and Saturday duties may be required without advanced notice. Night driving or driving in inclement weather may be required. Must not exceed 400 lbs. in weight or 6 ft 3 in. in height; accommodations will be considered under ADA and other laws.
