- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Acute and Swingbed - pneumonia, rehab, COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, GI bleed
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: IV starts, telemetry, NG, foley insertion

- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No

- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?: No
- Does the charge nurse take an assignment?:n/a
- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes we have one CNA per shift - they do the personal cares, vitals, weights
- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.): All of those
- Are RNs required to do anything with RT equipment besides trouble shoot?: Yes they need to set it up and be competent with Bipap, Cpap, HFNC
- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit?: no
- Are RNs required to read their own strips?: yes
- What brand are the tele monitors?: Mindray
