In this armed post, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity in all security-related duties. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $29.85 / Hour Job Schedule Monday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Friday: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity. Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site guidelines. Support restricted area protection by observing entry and exit activity, maintaining awareness of sensitive locations, and following post orders for handling weapons, equipment, and/or incident response. Minimum Requirements: A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required. One or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience are required. An Armed Guard Card or license is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
