Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - OR

Schedule: Tuesday through

Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing or higher required.
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric services.
- Minimum one year licensed RN experience in OR or two years licensed RN experience in OR for PRN roles.
- Licensed RN with no experience in OR must be enrolled in PeriOp101 program with successful completion within 4 months.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs, including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Formulate and implement a plan of care based on assessment data and patient-specific needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to update and revise care plans as patient needs change.
- Provide direct patient care and supervise the activities of the healthcare team.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and modify the plan of care as needed.
- Document all aspects of patient care to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
